Leve het concertgebouworkest
Het blad dat volgens Tim het beste is op het gebied van klassieke muziek, Grammophone, heeft in het komende nummer besloten dat het Nederlandse Concertgebouworkest het beste orkest ter wereld is.
The Amsterdam-based Concertgebouw Orchestra has earned itself an international standing since it first began, 120 years ago. But now its credibility has soared even higher. It has been voted the best symphony orchestra in the world.
The judgement was made by renowned music critics and has been published in the British music magazine, the Gramophone. The winner was chosen from a list of 20 top orchestras and just pipped the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
Misschien goed om te melden dat er ter ere van het 120-jarige bestaan nog tot 31 december 10 beroemde symphoniën kunnen worden gedownload.

Ze moeten wel een hoop van je weten voor je die symfonieëm mag downloaden.
Dat vind ik bij het concertgebouw minder erg dan bij veel andere sites 😉
